This Part is compatible with the 08-09 EdenPURE GEN 3 Model 1000 and the 08-09 Sun Twin GEN 3. Please note that there were two different control boards produced for these units. Each uses a different controller and they are not interchangeable. If your current controller has the writing GEN3 on the bottom this is the correct part. If it does not have GEN3 printed on the bottom of the controller, you will need to purchase Version 1. If you no longer have the controller, Version 1 is the most common one. We highly suggest if you are unsure of what version you have, Buy Both Versions and mail back the incorrect one and we can refund that item.

Remote Control

After replacing the new PC board in my 10 year old Sun Twin GEN3 heater, I discovered that the old remote would not work. Called the folks at Pure Energy and was advised the old remote would not work with the new PC board because of the new IR frequency. Got the new remote and now the heater works as good as new. Great customer service at Pure Energy.
